How to Get to Glasnevin Cemetery from The Clarence

Glasnevin Crematorium & Cemetery can be accessed by car, bus or by foot from The Clarence Hotel in Dublin City Centre.

Getting to Glasnevin Cemetery by car: From the hotel, head west on Wellington Quay toward Parliament Street, turn right on Fr. Matthew Bridge. Continue straight onto Church Street / Church Street Upper. Continue straight onto Finglas Road/R135. The Glasnevin Cemetery will be on the right.

Getting to Glasnevin Cemetery by bus:  Leave the hotel’s front entrance, turn right and walk along Wellington Quay. Turn right onto Asdill’s Row then turn left onto Fleet Street. From there, take the number 40 bus from Dublin City South, Westmoreland Street for 12 stops. Alight at Glasnevin, Claremount Court stop. Walk for 1 minute, the destination will be on the left.
