What are the best modes of transport to and from The Clarence Hotel & Dublin Airport?

The Airlink 747 bus service outside of the arrivals hall, has a stop at Christchurch Cathedral which is 5 minutes walking from The Clarence. The journey costs €7 per person and takes approximately 40 minutes. See their website for the latest Airlink 747 timetable.

The Aircoach bus service, outside the arrivals hall, has a stop at O’Connell Street which is 10 minutes walking distance from The Clarence. The service runs 24/7, the journey costs €7 and takes around 35 minutes. See their website for the latest Aircoach timetable.

Taxi from just outside the terminal, which typically costs €30 to €40, depending on traffic. There is no need to book as there are always taxis available and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

What are the parking options at The Clarence Hotel Dublin?

The most convenient car park near The Clarence is the Jervis Street Car Park, which is located at 61-66 Jervis St, Dublin 1. We have an agreed rate of €19.00 for 24 hours parking. To avail of this rate you simply need to keep your copy of your bill from The Clarence and present it to the car park office when paying.

What is the best route to get from Dublin airport to The Clarence Hotel?

From Dublin Airport, continue onto Swords Rd/R132.

Continue on R132 for approx 3 km and then take the 3rd ramp exit at the roundabout onto the N1

Continue on N1 into city centre.

Standard Cancellation Policy:

The standard cancellation policy for all standard vehicles (Executive Saloon, Luxury Saloon and MPV) is 6 hours prior to local pick up time.
Late cancellation fees for a daily hire will be equal to the 3 hour minimum charge and transfers charged at the base transfer rate.
No-show fees will be equal to the hourly minimum or base transfer, as applicable for the confirmed vehicle, airport fee, tolls, parking, and other charges in the reservation.
For any No-show’s please be advised we will always try to contact the booker or passenger for authorization to dismiss the driver.  If no contact is made with an authorized person we will dismiss the driver after 1 hour only.

We do not have an on-site gym. Please ask our reception team for information local gyms.

Which plug sockets are used in Ireland?

The electrical supply in Ireland is 230v/50Hz. Plugs and sockets operate using three prongs and plug adapters are widely available.

What are the opening hours of The Clarence Hotel Dublin?

Our reception team are available 24 hours a day.

Breakfast is served in Cleaver East Monday to Friday 7:30am to 10:00am and Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays from 8:00am to 10:30am.

Coffee / pastries, drinks are served 12pm -10pm in The Lobby Bar.
