The Pride Parade is one of the highlights of the year! It is an opportunity for us to march in solidarity and hear the power of our voices combined and to celebrate our diversity. There will be a whole host of events for you to attend all this week from music, exhibitions, to workshops and debates. Lots of these events will be taking place only a short walk from our hotel!
On Saturday 24th June there will be a huge and fantastic Pride parade with bands, floats and parade goers dancing and singing their way through the streets of Dublin city centre. This year the parade route will be different, due to ongoing construction with the Luas Cross City project. The meeting spot will be at St. Stephen’s Green South (with on-stage entertainment and speeches from 12 noon) before starting the parade at 2pm sharp.
Admission to the Pride Parade is free for individuals and community groups that support the ideals and principles of Pride, though registration is required for all groups taking part.
At the end of the parade in Smithfield there will be a tremendous amount of performances with music, drag acts and speeches. Bars, floats and food stalls will also be plentiful in Smithfield Square to satisfy everyone’s needs.

Plus, if that’s not enough, awesome club collective Mother are putting on their annual Pride Block Party. They’re loading up the glitter cannon, stocking the bars and re-building their Pride festival site up in the grounds of the Tivoli Theatre! They’ll be installing a massive main stage, bars, food stalls, bespoke interactive installations & everything needed for a banging proud block party – with DJs and live performances – and headlining the party is Eurovision winner Loreen!
