Well hello there friends of The Clarence, we hope you are all keeping well and excited for all of the fun and frolics that lie ahead for the remaining summer months!
For this instalment of our blog we wanted to introduce you to The Beatyard Festival, now in its 10th edition and growing by the year this festival has it all. Taking place over two days, it will combine three areas of music, great food, drinks and games all under one roof. The Beatyard Festival is an experience for all the senses, bringing the best chefs, musicians and creatives together for one weekend. Savour a cocktail in their haven of drinks called “Tipple Town” before making your way to “The Eatyard” for a delicious meal.
From the time you arrive you’ll soon be Lost in Music with Sister Sledge, Neneh Cherry, Slum Village and many more. The line-up is excellent and diverse and there really is something to suit people of all tastes.
What’s even better is that they will have their inaugural “Eatyard”, a bespoke food & drink village that will deliver a world of flavours, bringing together Dublin’s finest artisan producers and local favourites including 3fe Barista Jam – a coffee brewing showcase, Angel Churros, Staple Foods, The Big Blue Bus, Spud Box, 3FE, Suhas Falafel, Brewtonic Beer Hall and Wine-yl Ville with Sim Simma providing the musical backdrop! Dun Laoghaire’s finest are getting involved too with Uozo’s Fish Stack and Teddy’s Ice-Cream available on site for the weekend.
All with the beautiful Dublin Bay as the backdrop to your day. We definitely won’t be missing it and highly recommend that you fit it in to your weekend. It would be a great way to take in one of Irelands finest harbours…
The festival runs from the 1st – 2nd of August 2015 and is located out at Dun Laoghaire Harbour, just a 20 minute drive from the City Centre. Check out http://www.the-beatyard.com/
