This June bank holiday weekend will see revellers descend on the Irish Museum of Modern Art for the yearly celebration that is Forbidden Fruit.
Since it began in 2011, the festival has brought thousands of music and arts lovers to Dublin to celebrate everything from bands and DJs to comedians and poets. Located on the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Kilmainham, (www.imma.ie).
Forbidden Fruit is a short Luas ride or walk from Dublin’s city centre. There’s also a free shuttle bus that will pick up from Abercrombie & Fitch, Dame St every 30 minutes, starting from 4pm Friday and 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Here at The Clarence Hotel, you’re only a short walk away – a wonderful way to take in and enjoy the most of Dublin on your way to dance to your heart’s content!
The festival has gone from strength to strength since 2011, attracting huge crowds and impressive headline acts with this year bringing you Fatboy Slim, Jamie XX and Wu Tang Clan to name but a few.
