The renowned Jameson Dublin International Film Festival is back and will run from the 19th – 29th March all across Dublin. JDIFF will be screening Irish premieres and presenting over 120 films from all over the globe. The festival is noted for creating a unique relationship between the film community and the public through a packed schedule of screenings, interviews, Q&A’s, and discussions. Expect perspectives from directors, critics, writers and producers and of course, a massive celebration of Irish Film Talent.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Sound of Music, the one and only Dame Julie Andrews will participate in the final day of the festival celebrations. She will participate in a public interview and discuss her phenomenal career and iconic roles at Movies and Musicals in The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. There will also be a gala event and special presentation of The Sound of Music at the Savoy Cinema. Keep your eyes peeled if you’re out and about during the festival – Dublin is set to be packed with A-list actors with Kim Cattrall and Russell Crowe planning to attend in 2015!
